Hello Everyone,
Over the next couple weeks I will be teaching you remotely. I will communicate assignments and expectations through my email ([email protected] or [email protected] ) and my Google Classroom (see codes below), and my weebly (mrsschultz47.weebly.com). I am excited to be with you through this and know that I am here to help and support you in any way I can. I will be breaking down the coming weeks by subject and the work for each week. I will post it on Google classroom as well as sending out the weekly Junior High newsletter. Please remember to visit the church website and Facebook page to celebrate daily mass and Fr. Jim and Fr. Craig reading. Do not hesitate to ask questions at any time. I am here to help!!

Religion Each day please say this prayer:
Thank you God for my life, Thank you for family and friends. Today is a GREAT day!! I have high hopes for all that this day will bring. I intend to live every minute of it fully. The Lord made this day, I will rejoice and be glad in it. Lord, how may I serve you today?
Reflect on these three bible verses of the course of the week. If you have your bible journal, great! If not please use loose leaf, email your response or share it with me in google classroom.

With each passage above, What are your thoughts? How are you preparing for the death and resurrection of the Lord? How are you living out your lenten promise? What are you doing to grow a deeper relationship with Christ and what can you do to improve it? Reflect on anything else that is impacting you in this time of change.
Monday, March 30 - Complete the assigned prayer journal entry. Please read chapter 9, Prophetic Promise” on pages 173 - 181. Complete all of the activities on those pages 174, 175, 177, 179, 181 and the chapter review on page 183.
Tuesday, March 31 - Complete the chapter review on page 183. Current Events - God in the world. Find a news article that shows the good works of God in the world and report back to us. Please share what you found on Google classroom homeroom page. I should see a post from each of you on the classroom home page before 3:00 today.
Wednesday, April 1 - Complete the assigned bible journal entry. The Worksheet for Chapter 9 is in Google Classroom. Please complete it and submit it to me.
Thursday, April 2 - Complete the Chapter 9 Test open book which can be found in Google Classroom. Also complete the unit review, page 185-187. You need to complete all of the activities and write in complete sentences. Submit it when you are done.
Friday, April 3 - Complete the assigned bible journal reflection. Follow the attached link to go the St. Paul church website and watch a mass. Remember, we would normally be at mass together today. Science Monday, March 30 - I have linked on Google Classroom 3 worksheets that need to be completed. They may be printed and finished, completed on loose leaf or done digitally and returned.
Tuesday, March 31 - Complete the chapter review on pages 30-31 1-26. Please write in complete sentences. I can be submitted digitally on Google Classroom.
Wednesday April 1 - Friday, April 3 - Take a Virtual Tour of a National Park. Follow the links that I have included or find your own. After you take the tour, create a 3 slide Google Slide show and share it with the class. See Google Classroom or Weebly for the specific expectations of the slides. The slides should be shared with me by the end of the day on Friday, April 3.
Math This week we will be multiplying and dividing fractions, which is the first half of Chapter 8. I again have included a link to the notes which you need to complete and we will add them to your notebook upon your return. I also have a link to a video I made and Kahn Academy to help you.
Look for a challenge question each day that you need to respond to and kahoot challenges. It is important you check in daily!!
Monday, March 30 - Watch the videos on multiplying and dividing fractions. Complete your own notes, by printing and filling in or copying your own. Complete IXL - K1 and K2
Tuesday, March 31 - IXL - K6 and K13
Wednesday, April 1 - IXL - L2 and L5
Thursday, April 2 - IXL - L7
Friday, April 3 - IXL - HH1 and HH3
Remember for all IXL that you need to complete 30 questions of the lesson, whichever comes first. I am checking daily to make sure that you are completing the lessons.
7th Grade Social Studies
Watch CNN 10 and keep a running list of something new you have learned each day. This can be typed or done on loose leaf. I have provided a sample of this that you can fill out in Google classroom. Please check in regularly to Google Classroom as I will post there as well.
You may continue to work on this, but please know that I will be assigning new material this week. Follow the link or check Google classroom for the directions to complete your Current Events Binder Presentation. The Google Doc gives all of the specifics and the presentation must be submitted by April 3 by email or on google Classroom.
Monday, March 30 - Watch CNN 10 and fill out the log. Post one thoughtful comment about the day's episode on the Google classroom Stream. Please make sure that you copy the log form before you start to fill it out.
Look over the Culture Fest requirements and topic narrowing paper. You will be allowed to pick your country starting at 8am on Tuesday and no earlier. Be prepared for more than one country as I will not allow for repeats.

Begin working on the Culture presentation by following the guidelines included in the classwork folder on Google classroom.
Wednesday, April 1 - Friday, April 3 - Continue to work on your Culture Presentation. It must be submitted to me no later that Tuesday, April 7. Also begin to think about a food or a drink that you could make for the culture fair.
